NEAR Genesis IDO participation Deposits require wNEAR instead of NEAR to ensure compatibility with our platform and facilitate seamless transactions during the IDO process.
However, IDO participants can easily swap their NEAR tokens for wrapped NEAR (wNEAR), and vice versa, on the NEAR Genesis platform.
The swap condition for NEAR native tokens and wrapped tokens is set at a 1:1 ratio.
*Please note that other NEP-141 token swaps are not yet supported.
To initiate the NEAR <> wNEAR swap module, click on the NEAR logo located on the top right-hand side of the screen.
Note that swapping between NEAR and wNEAR incurs gas fees to validate the swap on the blockchain. Make sure you have budgeted aside some extra NEAR tokens to cover the gas fees before initiating the swap.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly convert your NEAR tokens to wNEAR and vice versa.
